On a mission to make voter registration accessible to every 16-year-old
Empowering

Making Democracy Accessible for All Ages

Vote16USA is a national campaign organized by Generation Citizen. It supports efforts to extend voting rights to 16- and 17-year-olds on the local and state levels, helps start new local campaigns, and elevates the issue’s prominence on a national level.

Empowering

Driving Change Through Youth Voting Rights

At Vote16USA, we are proud to be at the forefront of the movement to lower the voting age to 16. Our campaign has achieved significant milestones and continues to make progress in empowering young voices in the political process.

Join the Movement for Youth Voting Rights

At Vote16USA, our main objectives are to educate the public about the benefits of lowering the voting age to 16, mobilize young voters to make their voices heard, and advocate for legislative change. We believe that young people deserve a say in the decisions that affect their lives, and by empowering them to vote, we can create a more inclusive and representative democracy.

Here's what we do:

Educate the Public

We provide resources and information to raise awareness about the importance of youth voting rights.

Mobilize Young Voters

We engage and empower young people to exercise their right to vote.

Advocate for Change

We work to change legislation and policies to lower the voting age to 16.

16 year olds deal with peer pressure, gun violence, drugs, bullying and more. We're mature enough to rise above all of that, and we do have a voice.

Allowing 16 & 17 year olds to vote empowers a generation that is already actively shaping our communities and futures. Their voices deserve to be heard at the ballot box, reflecting their commitment to the issues that will impact their lives for years to come.
